Minutes from March Meeting

The LLHH Board of Directors met on March 7, 2013 with the following in attendance.  President Gary Wells, Treasurer Janet Shures, from Chatham Glenwood Tim Dixon, from Sacred Heart Griffin Kris Wellman and from Decatur Varsity Frank Earl and Decatur JV Jennifer Yborra.  Absent were Vice President Dave Ryan, from Champaign Carrie Kmoch.  Gary called the meeting to order at 6:40PM.  Gary asked for a motion to dispense with the reading of the minutes and the reading of the Treasurers report.  So moved by Tim Dixon and seconded by Kris Wellman.  Motion passed unanimously.  Under Old Business the Playoffs were discussed.  1^st Round will be on March 8^th at 7PM 2^nd Round will be on March 11^th at 7PM for the 1^st place regular season team against the lowest seed team from the 1^st round. 8:30PM game will be the 2^nd place regular season team against the other winner of the 1^st round. The winner from the 2^nd round will play for the Lincoln Land Cup at 7:15PM on the 13^th of March. Game responsibilities were discussed for the 1^st and 2^nd rounds of the playoffs. All Star game will be the 15^th of March at 7PM. Discussed was the All Star program that is being prepared by Dave Ryan and Tim Dixon. Under New Business it was discussed as to whether Decatur JV would be fined under LLHH rule 6-P-6.  Is decided that Decatur JV would be fined 100.00 but not the 300.00 as the team requested that they be allowed to forfeit their 1^st round game due to insufficient players.  Due to the team notifying LLHH in a timely manner no game and referee fees were paid by LLHH.
