LLHH Board of Directors Meeting

The LLHH Board of Directors met at the VFW Northenders on December 4, 2014 at 6:40 PM.  Those in attendance were Dave Ryan Vice President, Gary Wells President, Dan Wellman SHG, Shannon Elliott – Springfield, Steve Shulz Bloomington, Ted Tracy Co-Treasurer, Decatur was not represented.

Gary opened the meeting by asking for a motion to approve the minutes which were posted on the website. The motion was made Dan and seconded by Ted, and passed on a unanimous voice vote.

A motion was made to waive the treasurer’s report.  Dave made this motion and it was seconded by Dan. The measure passed on a unanimous voice vote.

Gary discussed dues with each of the club representatives. Decatur and Bloomington will pay an $1800 fee to the league for league play.  Springfield teams were charge $400 per players and $200 for goalies. Gary requested that all dues be paid to the league by 12/15/2014.

Gary told team reps that any and all schedule changes need to be made by the league, this cannot be done between teams.  Gary thanked Dan Wellman for putting together the league schedule.

Gary talked about changing of score sheets and commented that once the game is over score sheets will not be made.

Gary asked that all clubs get their pictures uploaded to the web. 

Gary reiterated that ONLY players and coaches are to be in the locker rooms, no one else. This is in compliance with USA Hockey and AHAI rules.

Under new business Gary said all team reps now have log-on to the web-site.  Shane made a motion to pay Carla and Justin $25 per game. This motion was seconded by Dan, and passed unanimously.

There was a motion to reimburse Gary Well for Decatur travel, made by Ted and seconded by Dan and passed unanimously.

Dave Ryan brought up the matter of referee pay.  There was a motion made by Dan and Steve to raise the referee pay from $55 to $60 per game. The motion passed on a unanimous voice vote. 

There was a motion to adjourn at 7:25. It passed on a voice vote.
